Renovation work in the atriums of Buchanan Hall, Horizon Hall, and the Johnson Center on the Fairfax Campus will start on Friday, Dec. 20. The projects will include the installation of additional guard rails on upper levels.

The Arlington County Fire Department, with assistance from George Mason Police, will conduct a training exercise in unoccupied spaces in Vernon Smith Hall on Friday, Dec. 13, between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Increased traffic is expected on and around the Fairfax Campus due to events at EagleBank Arena on the evenings of Wednesday, Nov. 20, and Thursday, Nov. 21.

Katherine Johnson Hall will be closed on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 6 a.m. to noon while HVAC maintenance and repairs are completed.

Increased traffic is expected on and around the Fairfax Campus due to George Mason basketball games at EagleBank Arena on the evenings of Monday, Nov. 4; Monday, Nov. 11; and Wednesday, Nov. 13. The games begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.

On George Mason University's Fairfax Campus, Nottoway River Lane will be partially closed between Lot A and Patriot Circle on Wednesday, Oct. 9, between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Traffic on Patriot Circle will not be able to use Nottoway River Lane to access Lots A and C or Braddock Road. Drivers will need to use other exits from campus, such as Roanoke River Road by EagleBank Arena and Lot K.

On the evening of Thursday, Sept. 5, increased traffic is expected on and around the Fairfax Campus, as well as an increase in on-campus parking, due to a concert at EagleBank Arena. The concert starts at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. On Friday, Sept. 13, alternating one lane closures will be in effect on Patriot Circle between Campus Drive and Lot I for road repairs.

New traffic patterns will go into effect in mid-September at the intersection of Prince William Parkway and University Boulevard near the Science and Technology Campus. To improve traffic operations and safety, left turns will no longer be permitted at this intersection. This will affect the way drivers enter and exit the SciTech Campus from these routes.
