
There will be increased traffic on and around George Mason University's Fairfax Campus on Tuesday, July 8, and Thursday, July 10, during Washington Mystics WNBA games at EagleBank Arena.
The game on Tuesday, July 8, starts at 11:30 a.m., with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. The game on Thursday, July 10, starts at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Drivers should allow additional travel time to and from campus and avoid the southern end of campus near EagleBank Arena and Braddock Road. Extra time should be allowed if using George Mason Shuttles.
To avoid arena parking and traffic impacts, drivers should park in the Rappahannock Parking Deck on the north end of campus and enter/exit campus via University Drive or Roberts Road.
Expect Parking Lots A, C, L, J, and K to be full. On Tuesday, July 8, Lot L and the back sections of Lot K will be closed to accommodate bus parking. Levels 4–5 of the Shenandoah Parking Deck will be open to General parking permitholders and event parking all day.
Vehicles should enter the Shenandoah Deck at the Level 3 permit entrance. All General area permitholders, as well as event attendees, should exit the Shenandoah Deck by 11 p.m. both days.
On Thursday, July 10, Levels 4–5 of the Shenandoah Parking Deck will be open to General parking permitholders and event attendees after 4 p.m.
